It was the early 1900s when Enzo and Antonio, two ambitious young men from Naples, decided to do something never seen before: open a pizzeria unlike any other. Naples was the birthplace of pizza, of course,
but they felt there was more to discover, something new to offer
the world.
So, they left their beloved city and boarded a transatlantic ship in search of new worlds. At every port, they encountered different cultures, absorbing new ideas and innovative techniques. When they felt ready, they returned to Italy and chose Florence, the city of art, as the ideal place to bring their project to life and it was here, not far from the Ponte Vecchio, that in 1922, the “New Bridge Pizza Club” was born. The name evoked a bridge between two worlds: the traditional Neapolitan dough and innovative cooking techniques, but also a bridge between their passions – Antonio’s love for cooking and Enzo’s love for music.
The “New Bridge Pizza Club” was more than just a pizzeria. It was a place where pizza became an experience, bringing together people from all walks of life through the magic of taste and music. Their pizza was crafted to meet every need, welcoming everyone: celiacs, vegetarians, vegans, the lactose intolerant, and those following a halal diet. No one was left out. The brothers’ philosophy was simple: pizza, like music, is a universal language, able to unite everyone without exception.
A story inspired by the true journey of Enzo and Antonio.
